CSC cuts prices for certain steel products for June

China Steel Corp. (CSC), the largest carbon steelmaker in Taiwan released its price policy for June last week. The company decided to cut its list prices for certain steel products by 2.08% averagely for June.

It's known that CSCs reduced its list prices for steel plates, hot rolled steel products and cold rolled steel products by NT$438/ton, NT$697/ton and NT$631/ton respectively for June.

Also, CSC decreased its June list prices for electrical galvanized steel products and hot-dipped galvanized steel products by N$500/ton and NT$533/ton respectively.

CSC stated that it decided to reduce its list prices for June, considering to the price dip in international market.

Also, CSC expected that the new price could help downstream buyers to have better sales performance in overseas market.
